Meet the Staff
Edina Community Council
The Edina Community Council is the decision making body for the Edina Family Services Collaborative and acts as the Advisory Council for the Edina Resource Center (ERC). Our mission is to be a catalyst for Edina community efforts to strengthen individuals and families.
Function and Responsibilities
- Serve as steering committee for the Edina Family Services Collaborative
- Act as the decision-making body for the Edina Family Services Collaborative LCTS (Local Collaborative Time Study) funding
- Assess human service strengths and needs in Edina
- Select and prioritize community goals to strengthen families
- Promote community-building efforts
- Guide the operations of the Edina Resource Center and assure its long term financial stability
- Follow terms listed in the Edina Family Services Collaborative Governance Agreement
